2nd Generation Ram Heater-A/C dash control relocation?
Hello All,
I am in the midst of evaluating some modifications to my dated dash layout in a 98’ 3500 4X4 Sport. Been tossing the idea around about relocating the heater-A/C Control module to an overhead location i.e., modified overhead console for some additional room for things I would like to do.
I see no problems with extending heated mirror & wire harness, nor the vacuum harness lines. Problem is the temperature control cable between the control module & heater-A/C housing. It looks like I could possibly modify with a cable extension kit of some sorts.
Has anyone heard of this being done in 2nd Generation Rams? Looking to eliminate a lot of trial and error if possible.
Regards
