Just got TWO new Flowmaster 44 series. Have yet to put them on my truck, but am either thinking of cutting it off at the cat and putting them in a row and leaving it open or making a Y and having one on each end. Any ideas? I want to make it LOUD.

putting them inline will make it quiter then stock more then likely....putting a y pipe and then putting one on each pipe will be the loudest

I have two of the 40 series on true duals with no cats. It's plenty loud.

I was thinking in a line would be not as loud, but would give me maximum horsepower. The true dual I would like to do, but that gets pricey and difficult. stick1994 do you just have it go from the headers to the flowmaster?

Do a X pipe with one on each side, that'll be loud. Get rid of the cat, you might need to buy an O2 Sim though.

Frye, mine has the stock manifolds running down to where the two pipes went into the cat then back from there.

I got 2 for 150 because a friend of mine totalled his car after just getting new exhaust. So I went with two. I was thinking of just ripping the headers off, but the flowmaster gives such a throaty sound, I love it. And I don't think it would be that safe.

stick, so you took the cat off and slapped the flows right on there?
