I just purchased the Napa 1-ton wheel cylinders yesterday for my 1/2 ton. I plan on having them installed this week so I will post up my reaction to them as soon as they are in.

Been using mine for 7 months or so ... no problems, yet. I just ordered new rotors/pads/drums/shoes for a complete overhaul ... I'll inspect the rears then.

I installed the 1-ton wheel cylinders on mine about a month ago. So far I have nothing but go things to say about them. I locked the rears up once in the rain under extremely heaving braking. However, I did this on purpose to see how the truck would react. They lock for a split second and that was it. Not even enough to notice anything. My truck is a 1/2 ton 4x4 and I had nothing in the bed, and not towing anything.

Go for it, you will be pleased with the braking ability of your truck.

I'm considering installing a cab adjustable proportioning valve (lever style). I can lock mine up on dry pavement ... easily.
