Ya, give the PCM some time to learn. My Fastman made a noticable difference in throttle response as soon as I tried it though.

eh, its ok. I guess i have to wait and see. It feels dogish. It burns out so gimply. It feels slightly torquier but theres a noticable lack of performance imo. The throttle responce is greatly improved though.

It's probably a little dogish because until the PCM relearns (after the PCM reset), you will be running richer then usual. Once that a/f ratio comes back down, it will be better. The best part of the Fastman though is the throttle response inmprovements. What are you running for an air cleaner/air intake?

It doesn't sound like it reset. I would leave it down for about 30 minutes at least.

You did reset your battery.
Disconnect ground, turn ignition to on for 10 seconds, turn off, reconnect ground and your done.
OEM radio's have a capacitor to retain station presets when servicing. Clocks easy to reset so its not hooked to the capacitor. Now go put some miles on it and see if there is a difference

What is the MAP sensor reading at full throttle and 4000 rpm?

Stock throttle body on a 1995 Magnum 5.9 V8 with the stock air cleaner was about 1.6 inches of mercury reading from the MAP at full throttle and 4000 rpm.

If the MAP reading drops
the hp at high rpm should go up.

If the MAP were to drop from
1.6 to 0.6 inches of Hg
the horsepower should increase by 8
if the air to fuel ratio stayed the same.

If the air to fuel ratio were to 'lean' a bit with the new 52 mm throttle bores,
from the extremely rich factory settings,
then the horsepower gain might be more.

gotta wait till payday tomorrow. Normally when i have to do a break in period, i just do it in one marathon night. I did that when i got my racing tranny in my lincoln, drove up to new york, down to virginia and back home to nj in one evening just so it would be ready for the track the next day lol.

sorry hank, but thats a lot of greek to me. I dont know how to check that, nor do i have the tools im sure. I dont really have any way of learning this stuff except from you fine people on these forums, and a lot of guess and check and blead and cus. If you could tell me how to check that id be much obliged.

Just did the disconnect and key on thing, and restarted it and it hesitated, never done that before, so im guessing i did reset it this time.

Edit : Is there a prefered method of relearning? Such as below X rpm for so long, with bouts above X rpm every so often?

Edit : After driving about 100 miles today im definately noticing a diffrence, especially in the 3500-5k. Unfortunately it still drives till rev limiter on the 2-3 shift, and refuses to shift. Guess the tranny wants to **** on me.
