i do it like every weekend. i just recommend getting under there with a pressure washer and get everthign off after. also using one of the sprinklers for the holes that goes back and forth straight up works very well if you put it under your truck for about and hour or so.

In all honestly, the type of "mudding" that your doing is probably driving really fast into puddles and maybe finding a little mud hole and driving through it 10 times right? Thats really not gonna do a dang thing to your truck. It'll be just fine.

I love the sprinkler cleaning method. That just made one of the top ten redneck things I've ever heard. There's no problem with mudding. It's great!

hmm bent up suspension components... scrapped up oil pan... scrapped up transmission mount.. hmm yeah it's lots of fun.

oh yeah and MUD MUD MUD and MORE MUD!! still washing mud out of the fenders and bumpers and lights. hmm yeah.

replacing the lower control arm i busted up awhile back. don't think it was from mudding though.. damn boulders i keep trying to drive over. i'll definetly get some pics up from the fix.

Keep it waxed too, cause jaggers and small tree branches will leave little little scratches and rub marks all over your truck, but they come out with a little rubbing compound. Just try to stay out of ruts that are too deep. try not to drag the bottom of your truck. Some times there's big ****ing rocks hiding in mud. Get out and check stuff out before you go driving through it. Make sure the ground can hold you. You'd be surprised how quick some terrain can change with a 5000 pound truck on top of it, and it sucks sliding down **** sideways because the ground have out from under you.

I was thinking that myself. I think I'm going to give that method a try this weekend.
