A/C
When I accelerate pretty quickly and the a/c is on it stops flowing out the vents for a bit untill i reach a steady speed. Im not used to newer vechicals with A/C just wondering it this is suposed to happen. Im in a 97 dodge ram.
mine does this too. i was worried that something is wrong with the switc. i believe the switch that controls the airflow is vacuum operated. i thought that when my a/c would go from the dash to the defrost vent, that it was due to a problme with the vac switch because it only does it under power (when the amount of vacuum is changing). i like the thought of there being a cut off that gives you more power though! that is a cool feature and also means that my truck isnt falling apart! anyone out there that can confirm or deny this "cutoff feature".
With all the info i have gotten for the forum.
I have figured out that.
From the vacuum port on the motor to the canister under the cowling.
Is good.
The part that is missing goes to the control on the dash.
Where does the vacuum line go thur the firewall at to get to the dash control.
I found the tee that had about an inch of crumbled (1/18) tubing in the line from the motor to the canister under the cowling.
But not the other end of the broken vacuum line
