Sounds like you have exactely what I just bought. Yesterday I bought my first truck:

1999 Ram 1500
Short bed, single cab
5.2L w/33 or 34" tires
Rhino push-bar
76k miles

How much did you pay for yours?
I paid $8100 before tax and title. It is a work truck edition and came with chrome nerf bars and bed rails.
I ran a carfax on it and could see all of the services performed. It appeared to be very well maintained.

After driving around more and testing acceleration and such it seems to be running much better now. I think it just has a low first gear but when it shifts into second and third acceleration seems good for a full size 4x4.

I don't think you'll be dissapointed. Just remember it's not a racecar. if you want a racecar buy a racecar, a big *** truck just doesn't take off the same way

But I wouldn't trade mine for anything else.

I felt the same way about mine when I first got it and your right bottom end is a little low but mods help but they do needbettergears. I agree with Indy wish they came with at least 390'sespecially the 4x4 and they are so blasted expensive to change out .
