Default maybe a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway

I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 4x4 quad, and I'm looking for a cover for my rear end, How do I know what size it is? I know that I have to count the bolts, but will that be enough to tell me what size to buy?

it's the Corporate 9.25 rear end. it's the only one they put under the 1500 unless it's a sport but i think they still used the same rear end just different gears. the 2500 they put the dana 60 or 70 and the 3500 it's the 80 i think...

all 1500's came with the corporate 9.25. sport is just a trim package. The 2000 and 2001 off road edition rams came with the 9.25 with 4.10 gears

yea you have the 9.25 but are you looking for a cover for looks? strength? or one that has a bigger oil capacity? because i would reccomend seeing if its just a pretty one or if its like a bulletbroof cover that allows an extra quart the more fluid the better

I just put the Mag-Tec covers on and I can't reccomend them enough. they are AWESOME, and the quality is top notch. They add an extra quart of fluid too !!
