I had thought about this when I ordered my 35" tires. I wanted to mount it under the bed where the stock spare was but there just wasn't enough space to fit a tire that big under there. I might look into getting one of those bed mount spare tire holders like in pic #1, I dont haul stuff that often so it wouldn't be a big deal for me.

thats HOTT but defeats the ability to haul stuff in your bed.

Okay, here's a stupid question. I put 35 inchers on my 2001 Ram, and until reading this thread, completely overlooked the jack issue. With a 6" lift and 35" inch tires, the stock jack is useless. What size jacks are you guys with the big tires and lifts using and where are you storing them for everyday travel? I'm a knucklehead! If I get a flat right now, I'm pretty much screwed! LOL
Don't feel bad that's the same reason I started this post Those Hi lift jacks will work with 35" tires but I hear they are kinda dangerous to use. As far as the spare tire goes I would only use it long enough to get to place to fix the tire, but mytruck is a 4x4 andI'm worried about causing damage by using such a small tire as a spare
