Default Lookin for Manual

Was wondering if any one has an updated link to get a manual
I am having oil pressure problems on my 2001 Ram. I put in a new oil pressure guage and
the good news is the guage works the bad news is I have no oil pressure.[:@]
I am also having a vaccuum problem in the 4 wheel drive once I start pulling a load
the 4 wheel drive kicks out Any suggestions would be helpful

Craig

did you replace the oil pressure gauge in the instrument cluster ? or did you replace the oil pressure sending unit on the back of the engine block next to the distributor ?

to prove the gauge works you can do the gauge test where you turn the ignition to ON while holding the odometer reset button in. it will do a sort of self test where it turns on all the lights, then swings each gauge through a 3 step swing.

not sure. give it a try. switch off, press and hold odometer reset, turn switch to on but not to start, continue holding odometer for up to 10 seconds. it will display CHEC in the odometer and the some squiggles while running the test. its called the actuator test. give it a try and let us know. its described in the 2001 service manual under instrument cluster with the failure codes listed.
