Default 1998 Ram 1 Ton Wheel Studs...HELP!

Hi all, I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1 Ton 4x4. I have to replace several broken rear wheel studs on the passenger side. I am wondering how hard it is to do, as i haven't had the wheels off yet. Is is simply a matter of hammering them out (maybe a little heat etc), and then tapping the new ones in? Are they easy to get at? Thanks!!

I think you will need some type of press to get them out but I'm sure their is a few ways to "coax" them out. On my D-60 they are in the hub and pretty easy to get toI'm not sure on the 1 ton. I think the way to get the new ones in is just putting a lug nut on and letting it pull itself in.

i replaced some on a trailer hub once by just bashing them out with a 3 lb sledge.
there's probably a clever press, but i've never seen one.
here's a tech article. http://www.pavementsucks.com/tech/studs.php
