I am also thinking about using this muffler on my 95 318 Ram. I want it to look as stock as possible, so what is the diameter of the stock exhaust pipe? If it's 2.5 or more I'm thinking about just putting in a new cat and muffler and using the stock pipe. I like the single out side exit my truck already has.

No need to be sorry thats what this forum is for... turn down check with your local state insp shop see if its legal to use turn down at the axle sense its under the truck .. I have mine straight out the back i like that look or just behind the tires ..some here have it out the side before the tire depends what you want.. If you take it to a shop look to spend at least 350 that depends on where you live..?

Anyone got any sound clips of the new Super 44? I'm curious as to see what it sounds like. I didn't see any clips on Flowmasters web site but maybe I just missed them. I've been talking about having my exhaust redone again and just using the 40 series which is what I think I have now but might be interested in this depending on how it sounds.

I have the Flowmaster Super 40 with dual outs and turn downs right before the axle. Its pretty loud inside the cab with alot of resonance. It rattles anything thats loose inside the cab. I had a new cat, 3" midpipe to the flowmaster muffler done all for $50.
