Ok drothe truck all day yesterday no pinging no oil consumption in over 750 miles started it up drove 45 miles to work it ate 1/2 qt oil and pinging the whole way. Can a plenum leak be intermittant? any way I will go ahead and check the gasket. see my new post for details on this.
