Considering getting a cold air kit for my truck. Whats everyone suggest? Dont wanna spent an arm and a leg cause yea i still havnt got my truck back from the 2500 dollar transmission job. Go warranty!!, but i have a 00 ram1500 sport 4x4 with 5.9ltr. Already got an exhaust so now i need more air for the fire.

I'd go with the Air Max, or the AFE. They work along the same lines as the OEM unit.
My K&N is only a shadow of it's former self, due to the mods I made to make it useful. I wish I'd started with something different.
All the same, although the round filter system is old school cool, the under hood heat it takes in really kills performance. It was the same in the 60s and 70s, and its still true today. cold air in makes power.
