Default Exhaust Types and Brands

I was just wondering what type of exhausts' everyone here had, and what type of brand it is? How does it sound? Do you think it would sound good on a V6?

i found the best sound for a v-6 is a 40 or super 40 with a turndown on it makes it sound alot deeper and more like a v-8

Did you guys install it yourselves? And if not, how much did it cost to get them put on?

I wanted to do the new 44 like suggested for me, but... still have a lot of questions about like adding a new high flow magnaflow cat, do i need a modified o2 sensor with the new cats to account for higher exhaust flow? The new 44's also come with 3" in and dual 2.5 out. Someone told me that running dual 2.5 will lower, low end torque and help the top end, and should be running dual 2.25 to not lose anything. Someone also mentioned that I should look into stainless steel pipes. I got a 01 ram 1500. Could someone give me a hand?

Highflow cat here ...nothing special with the O2 works great.. i have the 3" out to a dual 2.5 " it shifts at higher rpms(22-3500) depends how hard i get on it.. low end loss little if any ..getting 15.6 mpg city.... listen below...

v6's sound like crap with a cheap system. A guy I work with has a FULL BOAR exhaust system on his chevy truck with a 4.3 and it sounds better than my ram!! Mine dont crackle like his though. Look into that .
