debadging my truck?

Default debadging my truck?

I have a green1997 dodge ram 1500 sport, i dont like the badges that are on it because the color of the badges looks like ****, if i take the badges off will you see the color difference between where the badges where on my truck and where they wernt? Thanks..

sometimes. cant really predict that. if your paint has some fade at all it will, but if its been cleaned on a regular basis and garaged it prolly shouldnt be a big deal imo.

ya i bought my truck used a couple of months ago, it was a little faded but theni buffed it and and then waxed it a couple of times, all my friends say it looks a lot darker then when i bought it. Is it hard to take off the badges anyway? thanks..

its not hard one of the best ways is to make sure you get them nice and warm and then get a piece of fishing line not a real light piece and just peel them off that way and then just use some goof off and clean up the area or wd-40 or cleaner wax depends what you got in the garage.

I always use waxed dental floss to take the emblems off.

I have a dark green 01. I bought it used 6 months ago and before that it was in arizona. I took the emblems off and I can only see the differnce when water or dirt gets on it because it sticks differntly. I think I got dang lucky because all of the black on the truck looks grey.

It's funny to becasue I have to paint everything that is supposed to be black because its all grey now. I need to post pictures of it.
