Ram runs to rich
Hi,
I'am from Germany,
1999 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.9 Magnum, LongBed, 33,
Airaid, Fuel and LPG., 80.000 mls. The truck runs to rich
so I can not pass the German AU which we have to pass
every two years to prevent enviorment of air pollution
Any ideas? O2 sensor after catalytic converter is new.

RE: Ram runs to rich
Agree with xyzick on the O2. I see you have a new O2 for after the cat. converter, but check out the sensor before the catalytic converter. I think it isthe one that controls more of the fuel/air mix. Try cleaning it up well with carborator/choke cleaner before buying a new one.
Also I have noticed alot of talk about fuel injectors sticking open. Something else to look at.

No failure codes, LPG is low pressure gas (like camping gas) which is used often in Germany with US Cars as a substitute for gasoline.
1 Liter gasoline = 1,30 Euro, equal 1,60 Dollar [:@] and the Dodge is hungry! I try to clean the O2 sensor before the catalytic converter.
Thanks for your replies!
