Shorty header Q's?
1. My FT shorty header on the driver's side is within2 inchs from the brake lines! Is this a concern? Would this catch the fluid on fire!
2. Also would a 2 bolt hole 2.25" Copper collector gasket work for ourRams?
3. How long does it take for the paint to settle on the headers?
4. Is anyone else running the Flowtech shorty headers?
5. Do you have to retighten the headers every so often[ex. every 8 weeks]?

Don't know specifically for a Dodge, but I ran a set of headers on my old Jeep 360...pretty close to the same. The heat can cause some issues for your brakes during long trips, consider buying some header wrap, it'll drop your engine compartment temperature, protect the brake fluid, and possible increase your power slightly due to channeling away heat better.
I purchased a set of header bolt locks for mine. It's basically a tear-drop shaped washer designed to push up against the tubes to prevent backing out. You can also buy bolts with holes for wire locking them.
Afraid those are the only suggestions I have....good luck. Let us know how it goes, I'm planning on looking for a set in the next year or so.
