I'm getting ready to replace the exhaust system and was looking for some advice, not just about brand, but design.I like the Magnaflow mufflers, but have heard that some of the Flowmasters get better low rumble. I'm not looking for something terribly loud, just low and throaty!I used Flowmaster 40 series on my old Jeep and it sounded great, but any other advice.

Theplan is for 2.5"pipe to split after the high-flow cat into 2 mufflers, but I would consider a single muffler with dual outs if someone hadsome good points. Eventually I will replace the cat forward with a 3 or 3.5" drop down from the headers (to be purchased later after new heads) to a short flexible tubeto take out some vibration.

I've considered true duals with and without a crossover "x" pipe, but don't want to wait to do it all at once and haven't heard enough positive comments to go through the cost, loss of underside space and difficulty of routing and protecting everything.
