This is how my truck is set up...

2.5 in into the cat, 3in from the cat to the muffler, muffler splits into 2, both of witch at 2.5in and they go back to no tips(yet)
I have a flowmaster 40

My truck has a pretty good rumble when idleing, and sounds amaizing when taking off.
I parked it next to my frineds, brothers ram which is a system with some mangaflow muffler and mine by far has more rumble idleing, his sounds really nice taking off but I think mine sounds better.

Also, mine has almost none of that "pop pop pop" thing when you rev it way up, then let off.... where the mangaflow had ALOT of that, it sounded actually really bad just revving in neutral.

Get flowmaster 40!
I almost bought a 50, but im glad i got the 40.

I had 40's for a while i had a high flow cat and a single in dual out 40 series flow master. It sounded "good" thats all i gave it. But if you want the best deepest loudest and aggressive soundget the Flowmaster 10 series single in single out true duals no cats. It will be awesome sounding. thats what i have on my truck!!! 2.5" piping all the way off headers also....
