Just a quick question. My dodge when it takes off it is alittle sluggish.Also when it it shifts from secound to third "automatic" it acts like it slips a bit. But i can floor it but it wont come close to red lining.So i dont think the tranny is bad. because overall it runs pretty good.If any body has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

 

What year and how many miles? Mine did that and I was told it was the way a lip was ground for a seal from the factory. As the seal hardens and shrinks, fluid leaks and 2nd to 3rd slips. That was at 91k miles.

 

It is a 98 with 140,000 on it It was a dodge buy back at 27,000 because of tranny problems.Thats when we got it but havent had and problems till now.
