Default REAR GEAR HELP

I was reading some postings in regards to the rear gears and most of them have stated there was a tag on the dif cover when I looked last night my did not have one, can anyone tell me how I can check or where I can check to find out.

If the rear end has never been touched you can call dodge dealership with your vin # and they can tell you.

You can put the rear axle on jack stands and mark the tire and mark the drive shaft and count how many time the drive shaft mark goes around to one time of the tire mark going around.

I have a sticker under my hood that states the rear end gear along with other info . It's worth a look.

there also is, or was, a paper sticker on the axle tube, drivers side, next to the leave spring perch. this would be the original factory sticker. should say something like 3.55 OPEN. just beware it might have been swapped. only way to know for sure is count the revs like posted above. my metal tag on diff bolt was in some kind of unreadable code.
