Ok I am just curious how big would you set the limit for tire size on these half ton rears and drive train??just curious..cause i want to eventualy go bigger but dont want my whole drive train blowin apart on me...thanks
the biggest most people and i would recommend for the stock 1/2 ton drivetrain is 35's for wheeling. if you got 38's that's alot of wear and tear and it's very very likely you'll blow an axle pretty quick

If u have the right gearing u should be totaly fine. I have stock gearing and running 35's and i wheel my truck hard. I have never broken a axel, but i have stripped a gear.. I'm going in for new gears soon with the right ratio. Plan on spending 1,500 on gears. Gears give back gas millage, power, dosent strain the engine etc.
Your not gonna blow a 9.25 apart with any ease, but yeah its possible. The crapiest part about them is that its c-clip, but you could still run probably 40's on it.
