That's some cha ching if you can't do it yourself. Still some money. Also, take someone with you and check the front steering and suspension to make sure it's solid. Definitely get it in and out of 4h and 4l to make sure it engages. Make sure there's no crazy wobble on the highway too.
It's a 2wd, am I in trouble?

Who said a little whine is normal for a rear end? And, you'll be lucky if it just nichols and dimes you with that mileage regardless of the care it's had. Be thinking; rear end, tranny, engine. Water pump? Ha, if only! Don't mean to bring ants to your picnic. Just know what you're getting into. What you will probably spend on restoration, you could have a new(er) vehicle with those same payments. All due respect, sometimes we lose focus with the outer flash, and lose track of what makes it go.

This will be my 43rd vehicle I've owned. My wife and I have three car/trucks and two motorcycles, I'm not too worried about getting a newer one, it'll just be a toy for the most part. Your info won't addpanic, I don't have any, but it's most appreciated. And a little (faint) whine for these rear-ends is normal.
