For some reason, I have always been a fan of trucks with few "options". My truck is a 1999 Ram 1500 SLT Laramie, and of course has power locks and windows. How hard would it be to switch over to manual locks and windows? Would I just need to switch out the door panels to ones with the hand crank, or is there more involved? Does the reguator or anythinng need to be changed?

Also, if anyone with manual windows and locks is interested in trading for power, let me know, maybe we can work something out. I'm willing to trade straight up. Door panels, plus whatever else in the door that needs to be changed. (Like the window motor and stuff).

 

Sounds like an interesting trade. I just recently bought a 2001 2500 and she's all manual. Any idea about powering the locks & windows?
