Default Headers are in

My b uddy and myself put my headers obn tonight. Took about 3 hours. After we were done we drove it and it definately picked up a noticalbe diffrence, open as it was. When the rest of the exhaust gets on Im hoping to see a big diffrence. Btw, alkie makes that project sooo much easier. Vice grips were used on most of the bolts. Ill post pics later todayish.

6 bolts on each side, plop.

the toughest part was getting the rusted bolts out after the heads stripped. that was the first side, after using vice grips on the first side, we just hammered an 11mm over the bolts and ripped them out and then bashed the bolts out of the socket. there are two studs on there both of which wouldnt move, the nut just came off, so when we got the manifold off we just used the two nuts against themself method. sorry if im not making sense or not, im still a little buzzed.

oh, you would want a second person to help in the insertion of the headers, they are very cumbersome.

just till I get to the shop. It lost a LOT of power when I cut the factory pipe off. I gained most of it back when I put the headers on, but you can tell it will benifit an EXTREEME ammount when it gets buttoned up. It may be pie in the sky, but I believe it will drop to about 15.4/15.5's just from the diffrence iv noticed between the manifolds and the headers.

I wear earplugs when im driving to work....its really bad.
