more power

Default more power

hey everybody i just put adual exhaust on my truck headers back and i was just wondering wat would give me even more power my plans are a hypertech programmer, CAI, and possilby a new throttle body just wondering if u guys have anything u could add or if anything i listed is just a waste of money thanks

Motors all use the same principle for making more power. More air in, more fuel, more compression=more power. making the exhaust flow better is always a good start, but now that it can "exhale" better, you should consider helping it breathe better.

yea i agree with indyramman if you put exaust on you have to have more air go into motor. one thing i would definatly put on there is roller rockers, cam, heads, intake manifold, heads stuff like that. thats all going into my truck with the addition of a hurst shifter. good luck with your truck and if you hae any questions about the 5.2 let me know cause i have a 2000 ram 1500 and im working on everything. only thing left to work on is the moter everything else is new

dont mean to hyjack the thread, but you said 4spd this and that...do you have a 4spd stick swapped in there or do you have some auto hurst shifter like the quarter stick or something?

its an auto hurst shifter with the tc cable removed so its a semi auto

I have all three of those on my 5.2 along with an exhaust. I found themost power came from the programmer, then the throttle body and I felt theleast from the CAI

did you replace it with a manual valve body or somethin?
