Default ate the airbox

I just went out to see what ailed my truck and discovered that the top of the air box was smashed.A broken motor mount caused it and I cant find any of the pieces so I assume it must have sucked em in.Think I can take the intake off and get them out or did they melt all over the valves?

It broke just above the actual box right over the throttle body.

Hopefully they used the same plastic as they did on the dashboards. That stuff would just explode into dust and exit through the exhaust. Have you tried looking around the intake with a small mechanicsmirror?

yup I did find 1 bigger piece. Now I know why the trottle stuck wide open on me!It just isn't runnin right,it seems to die when you rev and let off.It goes well below a gran then kinda creeps back up to idle rpm.Doesn't respond like it did either.

probably should but I'm thinking about using a huge shop vac, make a cardboardplate that will seal to the intake and suck out the pieces.Yes I'm a redneck so spare me the jokes! LOL
