I would rather build motor up than get NX. You would bennifet in the long run to do a complete tear down, make it a 408 Stroker, or bore it out, or do both Get some really decent heads, a hot cam, some big compression pistons, like 12:1 or so, and a computer retune, not to mention all the other goodies to go with it.

You'll have to run racing gas (110 octane) with it (or propane I guess ) with compression that high. You could run E85 too actually.

That would bennifet you alot more then NX at the track. Just my 2 cents.

I'm with you on this one bud. I know that nitrous is the equalizer in a bottle but I am old school and prefer the no replacement for displacement school of thought[sm=gears.gif]

Buddy was running a 100shot threw his Indy. With mild mods NA it ran 15.1 (cai/m1/headers/catback), same day with 100shot best of the day was a 13.62 when the bottle was full. I raced him after his 4-5th pass and we ran door to door at 14.3, With no heater as the bottle emptied his ets were slower and slower.
He was spraying as soon as it was rolling (drag radials)

Based on his reductions should be about .15 seconds off 1/4 mile ets per 10hp shot you spray (out of the hole/full bottle)
