Default 2" lift

I just found this lift on ebay
http://tinyurl.com/2kjzad

It says that it doesn't come with shocks or accesories and that those options are listed below. But I wouldn't need new shocks or a steering stabilizer would I? Is it a good idea to get them or does it not matter?

That's the same lift I started with. It is Skyjacker part number D201k, and is the same price from Summit.
If you don't wheel a lot, then no, you do not need new shocks. Stock shocks would work fine with 2" for daily driver street/highway use in my opinion. No need for a new steering stabilizer unless yours is bad,

If I had this lift on my truck and bought tires and kept the stock rims would 315's fit? Would they be close and I could use a 1/8 spacer or something to fix the rubbing? Or would I have to go down to the 295's.

Mines the sport model without the offroad package. The offroad package came with different 5 spoke rims and hooks coming through recesses in the front bumper. I believe they also had posi.

315's would be really pushing it on stock rim backspacing without rubbing the control arms. If you had some rims with less backspacing (like 4.75" or 4.5" instead of the stock 5.5"-6"), then you could probably run a 315 with out rub unless you liked to go off-road. I'd say go with a 295 or even test fit a 305 and see if that would work.

Ya you would be very close. I have a 99 sport with 295's and whenI crank the wheel they rub. Just go to any tire shop and talk to them about it. (I went to a family owned place where they are honest) Some shops also will put the front tires on and check for clearence before finishing up the job.
