well you should feel stupid. I'm truly hoping that this story is just a joke because it is that far fetched and the fact that I would hope that a human being would have more sense than what was displayed in this little incident. If all you dad is taking away is the mustang he is obviously a softie. I personally don't think you should even have a drivers license after a stunt like that.

I find that hard to believe that you were going 145 mph and got a warning, even 65 mph is questionable. Were I live if your going 30 mph over the speed limit, its an automatic impound of the car plus you get arrested.

Okay first of all it is true. 2nd of all yeah i do agree it was stupid but ive raced alot in my life. You know this officer knew what i was doing was wrong and he cut me a break for one reason to learn my lesson. and i know i did. i seriously couldve got hurt. But seriously some people just like goin fast (or ami alone on that one) My dad is never gonna give me a chance on the track. sure ive gone to mess around sometimes on the track but nothing real.I mean he chewed me out pretty good and driving the mustang means alot to me. as far as having a vehicle... PFT i dont. the f150 was taken away cause thats his truck too. so basically i have no vehicle till my truck is done. And hewont take away my truck because it is co signed under my grandparents nameand i payed the truck in full CASH and i pay the insurance also.... Also i didnt run i stopped anywayz cause i knew it wouldve been more trouble if i ran.... Also i dropped my g/f and two friends off when i did this. i had a little more sense then to gamble with their lives. when i race i race alone. you cant tell me there isnt other people racing 150+ mph everyday somewhere wit nos or w/o... I mean the only reason my dad didnt go ballistic is because he also races too its just he dont want me too. And i told him i learned my lesson so he believes me... I dont think ill ever race again unless if i go to the track.

wow not even my best friend believed it until the officer himself told them i was racing. Hm well all i know is Coy Cathey was the driver of the 90's model mustang w/ nos. And the other was a red ford lightning. didnt know his name.

agreed- any street racer caught should have their car wrecked right there on site with a loader, and his license revoked.

I missed the whole story, what happened?
