Front u-joints ( if bad ) will only make noise when your going straight because when you turn you are releaving pressure off the joint, thus no clicking sound. I never had a wheel bearing go bad on me so I dont know what sound that would make. I had a loose bottom shock bolt in the rear that made noise over bumps, would a loose front shock bottom bolt make noise in the front while turning?
I have that but I think it's between my wheel and my wheel balancers (centramatic). Had one wheel off, pulled it, wheel back on, didn't do it. Not sure why it's clicking though.
prolly a u-joint... to see if it is your wheel bearing, jack the truck up, grab the wheel and pull it torwards you then puch it back and if it has ANY play then its time to get a new one, and if the plays bad, hurry up because they go and can fall off...not good
The hub assembly will make a clicking noise when turning if bad. Jack the wheel up and grab at the 12 and 6 possition. Try to rock the tire in and out. You shouldn't be able to. If there is no play it is probably fine. If there is any then it is bad. While you have it jacked up, look for play in the ujoint at the wheel.
