Default After market headlight assemblies

Anyone try any after market headlight assemblies like the ones e-bay? I love the look of the projection headlights I'm just not sure if they are functional. Any help would be great because I need to replaceone headlight assembly soon so this could be a good chance to upgrade.

Quick search pulled this up:

I put these on my truck as well and I actually like them. The "projectors" throw out a pretty wierd pattern and I am going to crack the case to get them to match w/ the high beams aim a little better, but I expected that. You will also have to do some rewiring to get them to work right, but it's just a matter of switching the pins inside the connector to to match the right wires on your existing connector.

Thanks for the info, I think I'll pass on these lights and just buy a new housing. The prospect of re-wiring isn't that appealing: so much for theadvertised plug and play.
