yes they actually do make a differnece. when i put my tips on ( the flowaster was just dumping under the truck) the tone got smoother. it also makes it resonate alot more in the cab with the tips

I had dual out tips on my 40 series and it sounded like crap. Recently got two turndowns right behind the muffler and it sounds much better in my opinion. Way lounder both inside and outside the truck.
