ok over the last couple of days my battery has been acting real weird..i went to my friends house..the gauge said where it was suppose to be...had to have the truck off for only 2 minutes went to start it and nothing..i had to get it jumped..as i drove it the gauge was saying its giving goood amperage..so i went to work shut it off..i am getting out of work go to start it nothing..jumped it drove home(about 25 miles) got home shut it off...but this time it turns back on..now today at my graduaiton it died again....and when i got home it died instantly..i mean no beeping or lights....i notice the terminals are bad..so I am replacing that and the battery tomorrow..is there anything else i should look at??thanks

 

Hold off on the battery replacement till you check the free stuff 1st.
Definately clean and remount the terminals. Also check the one down below at the starter too. Then have the battery TESTED. Most auto parts stores do this free.
Unless of course you already know the battery to be doomed; then disregard the above.

 

yea lol that battery was older than dirt.lol i replaced that and the terminals now the truck starts right up
