idle air control
IAC sensor/module, mounted on side of throttle body.
(will not idle, runs fine at higher RPMs right?)
IAC motor/module

yeah check IAC (Idle Air Control)
also check the Cap and Rotor for cracks, burns, corrosion, arching
i just replaced the cap and rotor for 11.28 i now need the IAC thats 42.00 new
also look down through the TB (Throttle Body) and look for oil pools that would
mean your plenum gasket is leaking.

let us know what you figure out and if any of this helps.

reset pcm-
only way you can do it-somewhat without a DRBIII

open hood, remove negative batt terminal...
let sit for like 30 minutes, install new IAC, re-connect batt. terminal.
start engine, drive vehicle so it can learn everything.

2 Points: 1 - did you test the original IAC valve to check its operation and what did the tip look like? Black and cruddy? Did you try cleaning it? 2 - If the valve is cruddy then so is the bore it fits into and even a new valve may not seat properly.

so i think my best corse of action is get a new valve, clean the seat where the pindel is doing to sit cause the old one was rusty and had some deposits of stuff ,then open the hood ,oh wait i think i aready did that!haha remove the neg batt terminal for say .5 hrs, than connect and install the new valve reconnect the bat and fire her up , got it !!!!! im waiting on the new valve to come in cause the one they had in stok i broke the sping on the dam thing turning it to get the clearence right 1 1/8' is what the pack said for the distance from the spindel to the base 1 it should be comming tomarrow though!!!!!!!!1
