Default Rocker question

Are the 318 rockers and the 360 rockers the same? If so, what performance difference would 360 rockers make on a 318? Or should I just get some true performance rockers?

rockers are the same, both 1.6:1 non-roller. some roller 1.7's would probably help you out, similar effect to a bigger cam, but i don't know what those alone would do for you or if the computer would drop a deuce...there are also cheap ones and good ones, the harland sharp (sp?) seem to be the most recommended.

How about roller rockers, stock intake ratio, 1.7 exhaust? I'm mainly looking to free up horsepower, not so much making it.

then i'd stick with the 1.6 rollers, no reason to increase the exhaust if you're not increasing the intake side, won't "free up" anything, the reason the roller rockers free up power is the reduced friction, if you go to 1.7's you're increasing lift which is more in the "making more" category.
