3.7 V6
4.7 V8
5.7 V8
6.7 I6

YEP. It keeps things cheaper and simple. Just add or take away a couple cylinders and you have a new engine!

 

but what about the 5.9L?

 

what about the 3.9 v6, 5.2 v8, 5.9 v8, 3.3v6, 3.8 v6, the 2.0 i4, 6.1 v8 hemi...ect ect

 

or the 8.0 L V10

 

If your trucks a 318 (according to your sig) isn't that a 5.2L I know mine (a 360) is a 5.9L

 

I was talking about the CURRENT line-up, geez guys. And yes, I know what displacement I own, the 5.2 was discontinued in 02.
It's just interesting that in the 2nd gens the displacements were all different and now within one liter, that's all.

 

it does make it simpler... for guys like me! ha! i think i have a memory problem.
