Road Trip--Yipee!
Leaving tomorrow morning as early as I can so I thought I'd post now. I'm driving across WA, ID, MT, SD, MN and back. Once I reach MN, the family and I will go to Chicago in the Tahoe to visit the brother and kids. Hope to have lots of fun with the little turds while I'm there. It's fun being the "crazy uncle"
and toss 'em around a little.
Anyway, I'll be monitoring the oil usage and gas mileage the whole 3000 miles so you'll all get the info when I'm back. Can't wait to hit the open road and see some COUNTRY!! I'm sick of flying [:'(] Btw, I put in some Truckplugs last weekend and so far. . . . haven't heard a ping [&:] so hopefully the truck won't give me any grief except oil usage. Catch ya on the flip side!

south dakota will be the longest drive in you life once you hit prairie. The hills are very nice though. If your taking I-90 I live in spearfish which is in the foothills of the hills on the border with wyoming. Very nice place and its around 50 miles from ellsworth AFB which is where i grew up. Anyways HAVE FUN!
Yeah, I grew up in southern MN, so I've been across SD many, many times and you're right. It takes forever! Even MT feels shorter than SD. Hopefully I won't have a head wind again coming back through SD. It took all my little 318 had in 4th gear to stay at 60mph and I swore I'd never drive this trip again without a diesel. Well, I guess I shouldn't swear anymore. [:@] Anyway, yes I'm taking I90 so I'll honk when I pass ya!
