I would stay away from the factory posi unit, especially if your gonna be looking for reliability at the track. To be honest, they flat out suck

Some 3.92s or 4.10 and a new posi unit shouldn't be over $500

i dont want a locker, it is a daily driver remember. 410s is a nice upgrade from 355s for now, but 392s would be the best bet when all things are considered. Mileage, wear and tear, final drive ratio whenever it is that i get a set of rims and drs., and also 410swill be too steep of a gear for racing out of overdrive (eventually that wont be a problem, but for now it is.) As far as posi units go, i agree that the factory one isnt as good as aftermarket ones, but its better than not having one.

the truetrac isnt a locker. its a gear driven limited slip. its alittle harsher then a clutch style ls but alot stronger ( harsher meaning its gunna give ya traction no matter what, theres not gunna be much slippage)

sounds like from the quick reading on google and whatnot iv just done that they flip flop torque, so its like having an open that jumps from wheel to wheel....or so it sounds.
