Default O2 sim is in...?

I put the o2 sim in today, but im getting a CEL for the front one now, i know why, because its not properly placed (slow responce code). I cant find a proper double threaded spacer (the bung for the 02 on my header is way too big for the o2 sensor threads. It actually slides in and out like a hotdog in a hallway. So does anyone know of the double threaded spacer, or a larger o2 sensor I can put in place, and lastly if another o2 sim would be appropriate for the front sensor or if they just work for the rears?

o2 sims are for the rear sensor... you dont want to use it in the front position otherwise your motor wont run right. where did you put it?

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and get a reducer. BTW thanks for the tip. I'm getting ready to get ready to throw my long tubes in this weekend. Hot dog in a hall way. Is that anything like stickin' it out a window in a warm rain.

In case you missed it:

I don't guess it really matters where the aft sensor goes (up al gores ***), but, as you can see, he needs to get that upstream somewhere in the flow.

yea im going to have to try a hardware store...the only thing im concerned about is putting a pipe fitting or something in there, idk if it would hold up to the temp. Pipes usuially dont see more than 400 degf. whereas the exhaust can get hotter than 700 sometimes. (I also told the exhaust shop to plug the hole in the header with a cap, but they may have just welded over it, so thats another thing Ill need to check...just lazy to look under...maybe i should do that now.
