turn the key from the off position to the on position (but not start) a few times.

on - off - on - off - on

there is another test for the gauge cluster.
depress and hold the odometer reset and turn the key to on. continue to hold the odometer for a few moments until it starts the test.

why would it show P Done on the little odometer screen and what does it mean ?
ok i got it to do the CHEC thing but i didn't get a code it just had a little line flip across the screen
then all guages moved 1/4 , then 1/2 the all the way up on tach, speedometer, fuel, temp, volt, and oil pressure
so what does this mean ?
i took pics of the P Done thing and the Chec if you need to see them

just tried mine - also got P Done.
i think it means that the display is complete, and there are no trouble codes.

intake air temperature (IAT) sensor is on the intake manifold, passenger side, up near the front, just off the end of the fuel rail, and behind the alternator. since its actually easy to get to, it must have been a dodge engineering mistake.
