Default 2 dirty deeds complete!

well 2 weeks ago my freind and i did the plenum gasket replacement job.while we had everything apart the water pump was also replaced.quite a job i must say, took about 10 hours to complete.but when we were done the motor fired up with no troubles.

yesterday we tackled my leaky a/c which turned out to be in the evaporater.after removing the dash to get the heater/a/c assembly out i found the $10.00 bill i lost 10 years previous. we then changed the evaporater, blower motor and heater core then tested all the vacumn lines and actuaters before reinstalling.this to is quite a task, complete job took another 8 hours to complete.i wonder what the bill would have been if i had the work done for me at a garage?

I paid to have my plenum done - just didn't have the time to work on it myself and I couldn't have my truck out of commission for a couple of weekends while I worked on it. Bill for labor was ballpark $600 for R/R - Hughes plenum kit, Cloyes roller timing chain, and a new water pump. All told it was about $900ish for parts, labor, and tax.
