Default New to Dodge

Hey Guys,

I just recently joined the family of Dodge. I inherited a baaad 1995 2500 4x4 360.
Can anyone tell me about the power of this truck and the axles its running. The guy i got it from said its got 3500 suspension. I know absoulutely nothing about dodges, since i came from fords. Also if yall know any mods i can do to it to gain horsepower/torque. pretty nice truck, pics to come soon

First off ford? common lol. Dodge! Simple and relatively cheap mods are the usual suspects, air intake, cat back exhause, headers, alot of guys run 180 degree thermostat. Ide say start there, once your truck sounds good you must then make it look good, lift, tires. Once you drive a dodge you wont go back to ford. Idk how much history you know about the truck but b4 ide start adding, i would do the usual maintanance, oil, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, TRANNY FLUSH, coolant. Just so you know you have a solid base befor you add.

your truck should have dana 60 front axle and a dana 70 rear axle...idk if theycame with dana60 rear axles. Anyways, 2500 and 3500's have the same suspension and axles. Your truck is making around 240 or so horsepower from the factory.

auchually the syspention is a little diffrent between 2500 and 3500 (as 3500 can carry more weight) but it will only have a leaf or 2 more and maby overloads, if he the guy you bought it fron is saying it has 3500 syspention he probley put in an add-a-leaf

if it has the stock axles and is not an LD 2500 it'll have d60's front and back, v-10's and diesels had the 70's/80's. V8 got the 60. plenty of axle, imo....
