Default the age old debate of plugs/wires

ok im gonna change mine this wekend now i know there has been lots of debate on what brand/gap/temp of plug to use...is what i wanna know (or to more politley put it would be greatfull if you could tell me) what you are running, and why (and hopfully a good reson not "thats all my dad ever used so thats all ill use" no ofence to your dad thow) and/or what you would stay away from and why i know diffrent plugs can cause diffrent levels of pinning and i wanna stay away from it so make and number(if possable) of the plugs you use and why
THANKS

on and its on a '98 1500 with a 5.2 so if you have one too id especially like to hear from you

I'm going to be running the platinum Autolites 5224 and I have the Blue Summit Wires 8mm to put on with them.
Running the plats cause they seem to last a while and fire quickly, I think the OE's were plats.
I'm getting the Summit wires cause they are inexpensive, look goodand should work well.

im running 3924 autolites , i think its 3923 that most are running which you can find at any walmart stores .. 8mm or 8.5mm wires are what you want to run plus msd or accel coil.. make sure you cap is brass ...

My vote for ign wires would be Magnecor,
or buy two 4 cyl NGK sets if you are on a budget.

The NGK V-Power sparkplugs are impressive.

Indexing the plugs
and perhaps cutting back the ground electrode
is worth considering if you are after the best.

I can post the (long) Magnum Engine Sparkplug FAQ
if you want to research thoroughly.
