Default Can you smell your tires?

Is it a normal for your tires to always smell like noticably outside the truck? I'm not talking about after I spin them or anything, I just mean like driving around town, or on the highway far or close, they always smell. I'm just wondering if it means they're wearing fast or if it's normal.

Sounds like some lower quality rubber.

When I bought new tires for my truck, I could smell them outside the truck when I was just standing there. That lasted only a few days though.

Yeah, I could smell mine when they were new.
But after that I couldn't.

Sounds like low quality tires, did you buy them at Sears? Ever since they werebought out they have been using low quality tires under the same brand names.

They are softer rubber, though they're not really as noticable as when they were new. Still when you walk past them you smell tires. I know that seems like kind of an obvious statement but you don't get that from all vehicles lol.
