When I first got my truck, the had P245/75 R16, Goodyear Wrangler AP. Quite possibly the worst tire ever made. It would skid on a drop of water. Goodyears lasted 40,000 miles, just barely b/cI didn't have money to replace them sooner.

Then I got Kirkland Signature (Made by Michelin) LT245/75 R16 All-Terrain. Good tire, lasted 60,000 miles before they developed a blister. Costco still refunded me 80% of original price based on tread wear.

Finally I got Michelin LTX/AT LT245/75 R16 All-Terrain. Love them. Still on the truck with 80,000 miles and plenty of tread. They were more expensive, but they lasted me a long time.

BFG is owned by Micheline as well, so I know any BFG would be a great tire.

It's funny how experiences with tires can vary so much from one person to the next. For example, my truck had the above mentioned Michelin LTX/AT's when I bought it. They lasted about 30k miles is all, and were the worst tire I have ever owned in snow and ice. I have had passneger car tires that did better then those. I was afraid to go out in the snow with my truck becasue I knew I would get stuck with ease. I will never buy another set of those for a truck. The BFG's were far superior in my opinion.

Its a skinnier tire.Width in Millimeters

I had a set of AT K/Os and they were a good all around tire especially if you dont do much off roading.

265/75r16 are bigger then 245/75r16 obviously. 265/75r16 are about 31x10.5r16's give or take.....you will have no problem going with a 265x75r16 tire for some dodges, like mine came from the factory with them installed
