Default Oxygen sensor and catalyst

Hi!
Ive got a 99 ram 1500 with the 5.9 magnum engine. I had to remove the catalyst because it went bad, and then I got a check engine code, is there any way to "fool" the after catalyst oxygen sensor to believe the catalyst is working and not throwing a code?

appreciate that, but I was hoping it was possible to do this by myself, heard something somewhere about a resistor that was put on the sensor wire. Im going to buy a new sensor later, but Im going on vacation tomorrow and Im driving the truck. Also, Im from norway (****land btw) and it takes too long time for me to get this box!
Thanks!

what code are you getting, im assuming the P0138. As long as you dont mind the CEL then dont worry about it. Its not hurting anything.

Well, norway doesnt have many trucks and american cars because of the stupid tax system they got on cars with bigger engines than a 1.6l!
And of course of the high gas price. The stupid politicians here we're going to save the world by running small cars... stupid isnt it?

And "rtmorrisjr":

You sure the engine is not going into some default mode and stops reading sensors, and by that uses more gas?
