Ok so I went to adjust the front band and removed the adjuster to clean and lube it, now putting it back in, it goes ALL THE WAY IN.

Is it because something released inside when I took the adjuster out?

Yup, something fell off there is another part between the bolt and the band (wedge shaped) and a metal strut .You will have to pull the pan and the valve body to access. DO NOT DRIVE until you repair!

 

Good thing I thought twice about it because I was like "well if I fire up the engine, pressures will return to tranny and push back in whatever moved away"...........then I said "naaaaaaaaa just ask ppl more knowledgeable than yourself"
