caster problem
i have a 94 4x4 with 8" lift had the truck aligned but the caster was still way off it was at -5 they got it to
-2 I'm told that +3to +4 is best.. my truck looks like the springs are sagging could this be the cause?
i saw the +2 degree ball joints i could do that. but that would only put it to 0. any help would be great.
also how do u adj. the caster? which way does the bolt turn?

I'm sure the alignment shop cranked the bolt to max adjustment already.
Offset ball joints might help as will longer lower control arms. the down side is the more you rotate the axle clockwise (increase caster) you affect the front pinion u-joint angle. if you get the caster close to OEM spec you will probably get a bad driveshaft vibration. Pinion angle is more important.
How does your truck steer? Caster doesn't wear tires. unless your steering is really twichy, unstable or doesn't return to center I wouldn't worry about the castor. It's a problem with most lifted trucks.
